The Deadwood movie will premiere on HBO on May 31. It is definitely not for those who don’t like strong language, violence, or nudity, but if you can take those as part of storytelling, it is one of the finest TV shows ever made. If you’ve never watched the series, we can’t remember it highly enough. The cost of rebuilding the town set was going to be enormous, so we’re not sure what finally sold HBO on the idea. This was actually named as the pain point over the years as to why the movie didn’t happen.
